“Scientists are issuing an alert, due to a mistake in previous calculations. The sun’s magnetic field will flip in 2012; the north and south poles will reverse, sending a shockwave of radiation out that will hit the Earth a few minutes later. Solar winds could damage satellites and power grids.”
